Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. in Williamsport, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment in support of site goals.

You will apply safety, predictive and preventive maintenance practices to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, vocational training in pneumatics/hydraulics or electrical/mechanical trades, and 1+ year of manufacturing or maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational training in pneumatics/hydraulics, electrical, or mechanical trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Interpret OEM manuals, diagrams and schematics; fabricate shields/guards as needed.
• Diagnose issues, replace parts, test and adjust equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement process improvements.
