Job summary

The Clorox Company is hiring a Machine Operator to run and maintain the production line at the Atlanta-West facility in Forest Park, GA. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform line changes, and support quality control for high standards of manufacturing safety and efficiency.

Shifts are 12 hours (7AM–7PM, 7PM–7AM) on a rotating swing schedule with overtime opportunities during peak demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some vocational/technical or mechanical coursework preferred.
• 1–2 years of machine operator experience in manufacturing ideal (3+ years preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line machinery, ensuring start-ups and run times are maintained.
• Perform changeovers on lines/equipment following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot, fix, and repair mechanical malfunctions and jams.
• Identify quality issues and collaborate with teams to meet quality standards.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and parts and order replacements as needed.
• Assist with improvement projects and equipment installations with engineering.
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA/Clorox standards and document maintenance work.
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on equipment and technologies.
