Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a manufacturing/distribution environment, preferably Food/Beverage.
• Organize work area to 5S standards and apply WCM processes.
• Understanding of PID drawings and preventive maintenance concepts.
• Proficient with SAP, Microsoft Office 365; basic computer skills.
• Self-motivated with limited supervision and strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor process equipment and controls across multiple processes.
• Safely oversee drums, totes and supersacks using forklift.
• Troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance and identify corrective work.
• Perform rail car switching and unloading of caustic and high-strength bleach per DOT/HazMat.
• Unload hazardous chemicals from bulk trucks and manage valve setups for storage tanks.
• Complete documentation, logs, and safety checks; maintain security and access control.
• Analyze production schedule and material flow to meet shift requirements.
• Monitor ingredient flows and adjust processes to maintain quality and throughput.
• Fill salt and chemical bags, handle bags up to 50-lb, and check lab RE testing.
• Maintain process area equipment, piping, gauges and pumps; support ongoing safety programs.
