Job summary

The Clorox Company in Forest Park, GA (West Facility) is seeking aMaintenance Technician for 12-hour rotating shifts to support automated packaging lines and disinfecting wipes production. You will follow safety rules, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, perform preventive maintenance, and manage spare parts to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires strong hands-on skills with VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, and PLC-based controls; experience with SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance work experience of at least 5 years.
• Proficiency in maintaining, troubleshooting, analyzing, and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, power transmission, electrical, and control systems.
• Thorough knowledge of VFDs, PLCs, and servo motors.
• Ability to repair defective machinery using drawings, manuals, and sample parts.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, rigging equipment, man-lifts, and shop equipment (mills, lathes, band saws, presses).
• Understanding of shaft alignment techniques and tools.
• Understanding of mechanical drive systems, lubrication, and various pump types.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and repair equipment to prevent, resolve, and eliminate various process failures and equipment breakdowns (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, power transmission, electrical, controls, etc.).
• Troubleshoot motor and motor control problems and work with VFDs, PLCs, and servo motors.
• Learn and perform mechanical work as needed and demonstrate effective written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrate a self-motivated work behavior requiring limited supervision and maintain a clean workstation.
• Read and update technical manuals and drawings, understand shaft alignment techniques/tools, and use tools to repair/modify equipment.
