Job summary

The Clorox Company is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Atlanta-West facility on a rotating 12-hour swing shift (7am–7pm). You will perform daily forklift inspections, manage packaging materials, and help ensure safe, efficient loading and unloading in a high-output manufacturing environment.

We require a high school diploma or equivalent, resume, and 1–2 years of related experience. You will report safety concerns, follow SDS procedures, and work on continuous improvement while adhering to

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Resume required.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing/distribution preferred.
• Proven forklift operator capabilities and safety focus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime, including weekends.
• Demonstrates 5S and OSHA/DOT compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily inspections of electric-powered forklift with proper documentation and uses attachments (slip-sheet, double-forks, clamp).
• Supports production by staging and moving packaging materials; maintains safe loading practices.
• Reports unsafe conditions via Hazardous Notification, BBS, and work orders for repair.
• Conducts safety checks related to trailer loading and dock locking systems.
• Maintains forklift security procedures and tool inventory.
• Plans and prioritizes work assignments with minimal supervision.
• Completes unloading/loading documentation accurately.
• Supports Changeover, Startup/Shutdown processes to standards.
• Follows OSHA and DOT regulations; maintains WPO and housekeeping.
• Understands SDS handling of raw materials and weight distribution requirements.
• Understands warehouse layout and capacity constraints.
