Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Atlanta-West facility in the United States. You will work on rotating swing shifts (12 hours, 7am-7pm) performing daily forklift inspections and utilizing various attachments.

You will support production by moving packaging materials, staging, and loading with strict adherence to safety and SDS procedures. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years in manufacturing/distribution is preferred, and a strong commitment to 5S

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years manufacturing/distribution experience preferred.
• Able to demonstrate forklift operator capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily inspections of electric-powered forklift with proper documentation and uses attachments (slip-sheet, double-forks, clamp).
• Assists production by staging materials and ensuring safe handling of packaging supplies.
• Reports and corrects unsafe conditions via Hazardous Notification and BBS, and initiates repair work orders.
• Performs safety checks related to trailer loading and dock locking systems.
• Maintains forklift security procedures and tools and prioritizes work with minimal supervision.
• Supports changeover, startup/shutdown processes and regulatory compliance (OSHA & DOT).
• Understands SDS procedures and weight distribution for all carrier equipment.
• Recognizes warehouse layout and capacity constraints.
