Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related agricultural field, or currently enrolled student with anticipated graduation.
• Ability to work an average 48-hour week; weekend/evening work may be required.
• Willingness to relocate and lead others; strong teamwork skills.
• Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft software; able to learn company systems.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and committed to safety and animal care.

Responsibilities

• Learns and becomes certified in all farm department areas.
• Gains understanding of pig production processes, health and husbandry.
• Performs hourly jobs under supervision and earns certifications.
• Prepares reports and suggests process improvements.
• Ensures compliance with IPS, biosecurity, EMS policies.
• On-call for emergencies and acts as acting HOD when needed.
• Progresses through the Manager Training development program.
