Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Production Manager in Fort Worth, TX to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and cost targets. You will drive lean initiatives, optimize staffing and line performance, and develop frontline leaders across multiple shifts.

The role emphasizes disciplined problem solving, standard work, and collaboration with Quality, Materials and Logistics to meet plant metrics and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; industrial or mechanical engineering background preferred.
• 8+ years of manufacturing experience with 2+ years directly managing production supervisors and hourly teams.
• 2+ years delivering daily build plans while meeting EH&S, quality, delivery and cost KPIs.
• 2+ years of experience with Lean Manufacturing, standard work, 5S and layered process audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple manufacturing value streams to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Drive daily execution of the production plan and align priorities across levels.
• Champion safety, EH&S compliance, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Improve first-pass yield, reduce defects and prevent customer escapes with standard work and audits.
• Manage staffing, line balancing, capacity and bottlenecks to improve throughput and cost per unit.
• Lead Lean initiatives (Kaizen, A3, visual management) and support capital projects and digital tooling.
• Develop and coach Operations Managers and supervisors to build a high-performance culture.
