Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations at a Texas facility. You will direct multiple production lines, drive safety, quality and cost targets, and develop supervisors and frontline teams.

You will own productivity metrics, OEE, and continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with Materials, Quality, and Engineering to meet output goals. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years manufacturing experience, including 2+ years supervising hourly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including 2+ years directly managing production supervisors and hourly teams.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, standard work and 5S.
• Lean / Six Sigma certification.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily production across assigned lines to meet build schedules and KPI targets.
• Leads, coaches and manages production supervisors and hourly team members.
• Owns productivity, OEE, labor efficiency and manufacturing cost control.
• Drives continuous improvement and problem solving on the floor.
• Partner with Materials and Quality to ensure resource availability and rapid deviation resolution.
• Enforces standard work, 5S, audits and operational discipline.
• Supports hiring, onboarding and training to meet needs.
• Leads daily tier meetings and communicates performance and priorities.
• Monitor and report KPIs including labor efficiency, safety, scrap, on-time delivery and cost per unit.
