Job summary

Pall Corporation in Putnam, CT is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead a safe, engaged, high‑performing manufacturing team and drive excellence across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, engineering, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience leading employees in a manufacturing, operations, or production environment with accountability for safety, quality, and performance.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable while fostering a positive and engaged work environment.
• Experience utilizing performance metrics and operational data to drive decision-making and achieve business objectives.
• Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, DBS, Kaizen, 5S, or structured problem solving.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional collaboration with departments such as Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Materials, Supply Chain, and Human Resources

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, and Cost objectives.
• Develop, coach, and hold accountable production associates and front‑line leaders while creating a culture focused on engagement, teamwork, and performance.
• Drive Daily Management processes including tier meetings, visual management, standard work, and performance tracking and ensure adherence to safety requirements, quality systems, operating procedures, and company policies.
• Monitor operational metrics, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions through structured problem‑solving methodologies.
• Partner with HR on employee relations matters, attendance management, performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing DBS, Kaizen, root cause analysis, countermeasures, and waste reduction methodologies.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, labor utilization, and resource planning to support customer demand and business objective and support strategic initiatives and organizational transformations that improve safety, quality, productivity, and employee experience.
