Job summary

Cytiva in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a DBS Leader to drive Lean transformation and operational excellence onsite. You will coach leadership and frontline teams, deploy data-driven improvements, and align initiatives with business goals.

The role reports to the Plant Director and focuses on sustainable KPI outcomes across the site. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing/continuous improvement with strong communication and leadership skills, and a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Prefer 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, manufacturing planning/scheduling, and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Ability to assess key business metrics and operational situations from a GM’s point of view.
• Strong ability to influence all levels of the organization, including senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills; independent and adaptable in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and sustain Kaizens, projects, and action plans to improve plant KPI.
• Lead root-cause analysis using DMAIC and develop team members in these skills.
• Improve DBS training and tool adoption, pursuing DBS certification.
• Immerse in critical plant areas to drive improved performance.
• Manage strategic projects from conception through sustainment.
