Job summary

BD is seeking a Production Lead to oversee manufacturing lines, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production targets on the shop floor.

You will manage staffing, training plans, daily line performance, and continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with Quality, Maintenance and HR to resolve issues and sustain Lean practices.

Role requires a degree or equivalent experience and willingness to spend 100% on the production floor with occasional meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Address safety issues or incidents promptly.
• Staffing and training plans for assigned shifts.
• Lead Tier 1 production meetings and align with the Line Centric Organization.
• Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies; involve HR when needed.
• Conduct daily batch reviews and ensure quality checks on lines.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance and other functions to build a cross-functional team.

Education
