Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Production Lead to manage day-to-day store operations and drive production performance to meet budget while complying with company standards.

The role acts as supervisor when assigned by the Store Manager or Production Manager and may lead during scheduled hours. Responsibilities include achieving production goals, ensuring donations are processed and displayed, maintaining a clean, safe back-room and floor, and demonstrating a positive role model for staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Prior service industry experience preferred.
• Retail training completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and production performance to meet budget.
• Act as supervisor when assigned by the Store Manager or Production Manager.
• Lead production goals and monitor progress toward targets.
• Produce donated goods and present a positive public image for Goodwill.
• Maintain safe, clean back-room and store areas; observe safety policies.
• Attend regularly scheduled shifts and be flexible for changes.

Responsibilities:

Toassistwiththeday-to-daystoreoperationandproductionperformancetomeetorexceed budgetwhileincompliancewithcompanystandards,policiesandprocedures.AProduction LeadperformsthedutiesofasupervisorwhenassignedbytheStoreManagerorProduction Manager.ProductionLeadsmayactinasupervisorycapacityduringscheduledworkhours.

• 1. Toreachproductiongoalguidelines(minimumof110garmentsperhourwithaminimumqualitystandardof90%).
• 2. Toensureproperproductionofdonationsgetprocessedandreadytoputonthestorefloor.
• 3. Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandtraineesinallaspectsofprofessionalperformance.
• 4. Toproducedonatedgoodsinthebackroomadequately.Tocreateapositivepublic image of Goodwill through a clean store environment, attractive displays and presentable, personable personnel.
• 5. Tomaintainsafeandappropriateconditions intheback-roomarea.
• 6. Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreebyvacuuming,moppinganddusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.)
• 7. Toobservepersonnelandsafetypoliciesandprocedures.ToensurecompliancebyProductionAssociates.
• 8. Tobeableto perform the jobduties oftheProductionAssociates.
• 9. Toattendworkontheregularlyscheduledshiftsasassignedbythemanagerfortheweek.

Requirements:

• 1. HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry.
• 2. Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyinEnglish.
• 3. Priorworkexperience intheserviceindustrypreferred.
• 4. MustsuccessfullycompleteRetail training.

Working Conditions:

Frequent physical exertion, frequent movement, conditioned indoor temperatures with occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
