Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Production Lead to supervise daily store operations and production performance, aiming to meet or exceed budgets while complying with standards. The role requires coordinating with Store/Production Managers, ensuring donations are processed, and maintaining a safe, clean store environment.

The position involves supporting staff across shifts, including nights and weekends, and acting as a role model for employees and trainees to uphold professional performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 months supervisory experience or 90 days in the service industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and production performance.
• Reach production goals per guidelines (e.g., garments per hour with quality standard).
• Ensure donations are processed and ready on store floor.
• Act as a positive role model for employees and trainees.
• Produce donated goods in backroom and maintain public image with clean store.
• Maintain safe and appropriate back-room conditions.
• Keep store clean and hazard-free (vacuuming, mopping, dusting).
• Observe personnel and safety policies to ensure compliance.
• Attend shifts as assigned by the manager weekly.

Responsibilities:

Toassistwiththeday-to-daystoreoperationandproductionperformancetomeetorexceed budgetwhileincompliancewithcompanystandards,policiesandprocedures.AProduction LeadperformsthedutiesofasupervisorwhenassignedbytheStoreManagerorProduction Manager.ProductionLeadsmayactinasupervisorycapacityduringscheduledworkhours.

• 1. Toreachproductiongoalguidelines(minimumof110garmentsperhourwithaminimumqualitystandardof90%).
• 2. Toensureproperproductionofdonationsgetprocessedandreadytoputonthestorefloor.
• 3. Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandtraineesinallaspectsofprofessionalperformance.
• 4. Toproducedonatedgoodsinthebackroomadequately.Tocreateapositivepublic image of Goodwill through a clean store environment, attractive displays and presentable, personable personnel.
• 5. Tomaintainsafeandappropriateconditions intheback-roomarea.
• 6. Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreebyvacuuming,moppinganddusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.)
• 7. Toobservepersonnelandsafetypoliciesandprocedures.ToensurecompliancebyProductionAssociates.
• 8. Tobeableto perform the jobduties oftheProductionAssociates.
• 9. Toattendworkontheregularlyscheduledshiftsasassignedbythemanagerfortheweek.

Requirements:

• 1. HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry.
• 2. Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyinEnglish.
• 3. Priorworkexperience intheserviceindustrypreferred.
• 4. MustsuccessfullycompleteRetail training.

Working Conditions:

Frequent physical exertion, frequent movement, conditioned indoor temperatures with occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
