Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Production Lead to oversee daily store operations and drive production performance to meet budget while adhering to company standards and procedures.

The role serves as a supervisor when assigned by the Store Manager or Production Manager, guiding associates to meet quality goals and maintain a positive store image through clean displays and professional staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Retail/service industry experience preferred.
• Retail training completed required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations and production to meet budget.
• Supervise Production Associates and act as supervisor when needed.
• Ensure donations are processed and displayed properly on the floor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and presentable store environment.
• Uphold company standards, policies, and procedures for staff.
• Support training and leadership of team members.
• Schedule flexibly, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Assist in achieving monthly and annual production goals.
• Monitor quality and efficiency of garment production.

Responsibilities:

Toassistwiththeday-to-daystoreoperationandproductionperformancetomeetorexceed budgetwhileincompliancewithcompanystandards,policiesandprocedures.AProduction LeadperformsthedutiesofasupervisorwhenassignedbytheStoreManagerorProduction Manager.ProductionLeadsmayactinasupervisorycapacityduringscheduledworkhours.

• 1. Toreachproductiongoalguidelines(minimumof110garmentsperhourwithaminimumqualitystandardof90%).
• 2. Toensureproperproductionofdonationsgetprocessedandreadytoputonthestorefloor.
• 3. Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandtraineesinallaspectsofprofessionalperformance.
• 4. Toproducedonatedgoodsinthebackroomadequately.Tocreateapositivepublic image of Goodwill through a clean store environment, attractive displays and presentable, personable personnel.
• 5. Tomaintainsafeandappropriateconditions intheback-roomarea.
• 6. Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreebyvacuuming,moppinganddusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.)
• 7. Toobservepersonnelandsafetypoliciesandprocedures.ToensurecompliancebyProductionAssociates.
• 8. Tobeableto perform the jobduties oftheProductionAssociates.
• 9. Toattendworkontheregularlyscheduledshiftsasassignedbythemanagerfortheweek.

• 6. Mustbeabletouserepetitivehandmovementwhenbuttoning,sorting,hangingand zipping garments.
• 7. Mustbeabletoengageinprolongedstanding,walkingandinfrequentbending, stooping, and stretching.
• 8. Mustbeabletofunctioninafast-pacedworkenvironmentwithoccasionalperiodsof high volume.

Requirements:

• 1. HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry.
• 2. Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyinEnglish.
• 3. Priorworkexperience intheserviceindustrypreferred.
• 4. MustsuccessfullycompleteRetail training.

Working Conditions:

Frequent physical exertion, frequent movement, conditioned indoor temperatures with occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
