Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Production Lead to oversee daily store operations and drive production performance to meet and exceed budget while adhering to company standards.

The role acts as supervisor when assigned by the Store Manager or Production Manager and may serve in supervisory capacity during scheduled hours. Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• 6 months supervisory experience or 90 days in the service industry.
• Prior service industry experience preferred.
• Retail training completed.

Responsibilities

• Reach production goals with a minimum of 110 garments per hour and a quality standard of 90%.
• Ensure proper production of donations processed and ready to put on the store floor.
• Act as a positive role model for employees and trainees in all aspects of professional performance.
• Produce donated goods in the backroom adequately; create a positive public image of Goodwill through store environment, displays, and presentable staff.
• Maintain safe and appropriate conditions in the back-room area.
• Keep the store clean and hazard-free by vacuuming, mopping and dusting (including bathrooms).
• Observe personnel and safety policies and procedures; ensure compliance by Production Associates.
• Be able to perform the duties of Production Associates.
• Attend work on regularly scheduled shifts as assigned by the manager for the week.

Requirements:

• 1. HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry.
• 2. Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyinEnglish.
• 3. Priorworkexperience intheserviceindustrypreferred.
• 4. MustsuccessfullycompleteRetail training.

Working Conditions:

Frequent physical exertion, frequent movement, conditioned indoor temperatures with occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
