Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Southeastern-Louisiana is seeking a Production Lead to oversee day-to-day store operations and production performance, aiming to meet or exceed budgets while following company standards and procedures.

The role includes supervising staff, ensuring donations are processed and displayed, maintaining a clean, safe store environment, and presenting a professional image to customers through teamwork and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 6 months supervisory experience or a minimum of 90 days in the service industry.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Prior work experience in the service industry preferred.
• Must successfully complete Retail training.

Responsibilities

• To reach production goals guidelines (minimum of 110 garments per hour with a minimum quality standard of 90%).
• To ensure proper production of donations get processed and ready to put on the store floor.
• To act as a positive role model for employees and trainees in all aspects of professional performance.
• To produce donated goods in the backroom adequately. To create a positive public image of Goodwill through a clean store environment, attractive displays and presentable, personable personnel.
• To maintain safe and appropriate conditions in the back-room area.
• To keep the store clean and hazard-free by vacuuming, mopping and dusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms).
• To observe personnel and safety policies and procedures. To ensure compliance by Production Associates.
• To be able to perform the job duties of the Production Associates.
• To attend work on the regularly scheduled shifts as assigned by the manager for the week.

Requirements:

• 1. HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry.

Working Conditions:

Frequent physical exertion, frequent movement, conditioned indoor temperatures with occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
