Job summary

Goodwill in Denham Springs, LA is seeking a Production Lead to manage day-to-day store operations and production performance to meet budget while upholding company standards.

You will supervise production associates, model professional behavior, ensure donations are processed and ready for the floor, and maintain a safe, clean back-room and store environment.

The role requires flexibility, ability to work nights/weekends, and reading/writing English; prior service retail training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 months supervisory experience (or 90 days in the service industry).
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Prior work experience in the service industry preferred.
• Retail training must be successfully completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operation and production performance to meet budget.

Responsibilities:

Toassistwiththeday-to-daystoreoperationandproductionperformancetomeetorexceed budgetwhileincompliancewithcompanystandards,policiesandprocedures.AProduction LeadperformsthedutiesofasupervisorwhenassignedbytheStoreManagerorProduction Manager.ProductionLeadsmayactinasupervisorycapacityduringscheduledworkhours.

• 1. Toreachproductiongoalguidelines(minimumof110garmentsperhourwithaminimumqualitystandardof90%).
• 2. Toensureproperproductionofdonationsgetprocessedandreadytoputonthestorefloor.
• 3. Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandtraineesinallaspectsofprofessionalperformance.
• 4. Toproducedonatedgoodsinthebackroomadequately.Tocreateapositivepublic image of Goodwill through a clean store environment, attractive displays and presentable, personable personnel.
• 5. Tomaintainsafeandappropriateconditions intheback-roomarea.
• 6. Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreebyvacuuming,moppinganddusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.)
• 7. Toobservepersonnelandsafetypoliciesandprocedures.ToensurecompliancebyProductionAssociates.

Requirements:

Working Conditions:

Frequent physical exertion, frequent movement, conditioned indoor temperatures with occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
