Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead to supervise and develop a team in our Inspection Center. You will manage the flow of vehicles, drive toward production and quality targets, and ensure safe operation while coaching team members and upholding Carvana's standards.

You will mentor hourly associates, coordinate with leadership, and help maintain inventory quality through effective delegation and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrated functional expertise in Carvana's reconditioning process.
• Demonstrated understanding of reconditioning processes and lean principles.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods; work in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center while meeting production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Oversee day‑to‑day activities of the assigned team; identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coach, develop and manage performance of team members; provide feedback.
• Create a productive work environment aligned with Carvana's values; communicate expectations clearly.
• Lead repairs/rejections with GM input based on repair costs and vehicle quality.
