Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead for its Inspection Center to supervise and develop a team of hourly associates, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met. You will coach staff, manage workflow, and uphold safety and company values in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift, stand for long periods, and strong communication skills. Overtime and weekend work are expected in a dynamic operation.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated understanding of Carvana's reconditioning processes and lean principles.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely for repairs, while meeting or exceeding production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the assigned team; identify strengths/ weaknesses; determine opportunities and steps to improve.
• Engage team with coaching, development and performance management; provide feedback and model desired skills.
• Create a work environment that fosters positive communication, team cohesion, and adherence to Carvana's Values.
• Proactively communicate expectations, performance measures, and goals to team members.
