Job summary

Carvana seeks a Line Lead, Parts, to supervise an Inspection Center team of hourly associates. You will drive production and quality goals, ensure safe movement of vehicles, and coordinate with leadership to repair or reject inventory based on cost and quality.

You will coach and develop staff, communicate expectations clearly, and maintain adherence to policies and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site role in our growing organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrated functional expertise in reconditioning processes.
• Demonstrated understanding of lean principles.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work in various environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely for repairs, while meeting or exceeding production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the assigned team; identify strengths and weaknesses; determine areas of opportunity and steps to improve.
• Provide coaching, development and performance management; offer feedback.
• Create a work environment that promotes clear communication, team cohesion, and adherence to Carvana’s Values.
• Proactively communicate expectations, performance measures, and goals to team members.
