New-Indy Containerboard LLC is seeking a production supervisor to lead the assembly team, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production. You will guide training, plan work, and coordinate with maintenance to resolve on-shift issues.

The role requires mounting experience, strong project management and teamwork, with a focus on lean practices and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on, on-site position with demanding production schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior mounting experience.
• Project management skills.
• Technical skills.
• Organization and efficiency.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Knowledge equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
• Read and interpret product layout and production specifications.

Responsabilités

• Lead production employees to maintain safety, quality, and efficient production on shift.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; train employees as directed by supervisor.
• Interface with internal teams to ensure customer deadlines are met.
• Inspect and measure parts/products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Identify best practices and efficiencies; assist with problem resolution.
• Document training with HR and coordinate training sessions.
• Schedule assembly department activities per manager to meet daily production goals.
• Analyze root causes of quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain lean manufacturing practices and emphasize safety and productivity.
• Provide feedback on employee performance and training needs.
