Job summary

Ring Container Technologies in Indianapolis seeks a Production Supervisor to lead safety, quality and productivity on the production floor. You will enforce GMP, HACCP and food safety practices, train staff and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality and equipment performance.

You will manage shift personnel, attendance, overtime and performance, while fostering a culture that values employees first and production excellence. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong people skills, leadership qualities, managerial abilities and accountability are required.
• 2-4 year technical degree is preferred; military experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment for production employees, visitors and temporary labor.
• Ensure safety training for all employees per the program.
• Distribute and enforce use of protective equipment; coordinate safety training with the plant safety team.
• Document safety training and maintain records.
• Monitor production floor for unsafe conditions and address issues.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives and conduct focused walks to gather input on safety, quality and performance.
• Provide training to production personnel on safety, quality, production and equipment operation.
• Maintain employee relations and attendance records; manage overtime and vacations.
• Promote TPM events and projects; support SQFI/BRC standards.
