Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Southeastern-Louisiana is seeking a Production Lead to oversee daily store operations and production performance, ensuring donor goods are processed efficiently and meet quality standards. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 6 months supervisory experience or a minimum of 90 days in the service industry.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Prior work experience in the service industry preferred.
• Must successfully complete Retail training.

Responsibilities

• Reach production goals: minimum 110 garments per hour with at least 90% quality.
• Ensure proper production of donated goods, processed and ready for store floor.
• Act as a positive role model for employees and trainees in all aspects of professional performance.
• Produce donated goods in the backroom; create a positive public image through a clean store environment and presentable staff.
• Maintain safe and appropriate conditions in the back-room area.
• Keep the store clean and hazard-free by vacuuming, mopping, and dusting, including bathrooms.
• Observe personnel and safety policies; ensure compliance by Production Associates.
• Be able to perform the job duties of Production Associates.
• Attend work on regularly scheduled shifts as assigned by the manager for the week.

Requirements:

• 1. HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry.
• 2. Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyinEnglish.
• 3. Priorworkexperience intheserviceindustrypreferred.
• 4. MustsuccessfullycompleteRetailtraining.

Working Conditions:

Frequent physical exertion, frequent movement, conditioned indoor temperatures with occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
