Job summary

Simmons Foods seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a front-line team in processing, packaging, and storage operations. You will ensure safety, productivity, and quality while coordinating with HR, Safety, Maintenance, and QA to meet daily goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 4 years related experience, English literacy, and strong leadership. Expect to drive continuous improvement and optimize line performance in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading front-line teams and maintaining safety and quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to read/interpret reports.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of front-line employees to meet daily production goals and maintain safety and quality.
• Schedules, tracks attendance, and approves time off for direct reports.
• Maintains inventory records and coordinates with other departments to meet production schedules.
• Interprets production reports (throughput, yield) to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Fosters a safe work environment and ensures compliance with Simmons, OSHA, and regulatory guidelines.
• Drives continuous improvement using LEAN concepts and reduces waste.
