Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team producing fasteners. You will manage resources, ensure safety, and optimize production schedules to meet customer requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 1–5 years in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with supervisory experience. ERP experience is preferred and AS400/Mapcis is a plus.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience supervising a team.
Strong scheduling and prioritization to meet production goals.
Familiarity with ERP systems; AS400/Mapcis preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead a team and manage performance by setting clear expectations; interview, hire, train, plan, and direct work.
Enforce safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area; ensure compliance with safety standards.
Schedule jobs to maximize machine and operator efficiency; manage production flow and capacity reporting.
Coordinate shift-to-shift communication to ensure continuity of operations.
Oversee movement and status of product through the production process.
