Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a production supervisor to oversee planning, scheduling, and assignment of work to meet quality and cost objectives.

You will investigate problems, drive process improvements, and coordinate cross-department activities to sustain schedule adherence. You will lead a team, review equipment reliability, and ensure manufacturing requirements are met while maintaining a world-class safe and organized production environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year technical degree or related experience.
• 3-5 years related experience in manufacturing.
• US citizenship or equivalent for export controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, evaluate, and coach personnel to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Review equipment operations to ensure reliability.
• Ensure all manufacturing requirements are met.
• Communicate goals, achievements, problems, and solutions and enforce policies.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized production environment.
• Provide professional, businesslike conduct in all operations.
• Prepare production, maintenance, and project status reports.
• Conduct in-house training on safety, operations, quality, maintenance, and orientation.
• Collaborate with operators and maintenance to troubleshoot issues and causes of breakdowns.
• Run SAP reports to track material movement in the department.
• Administer employee time via e-time and fill overtime as needed.
• Lead continuous improvement teams with shop floor participation.
