Qualifications

• 1–5 years of technical experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Working knowledge of ERP software, AS400/Mapcis preferred.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts and statistics in practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Ability to concentrate on objectives while coordinating various functions.

Responsibilities

• Schedule jobs to maximize machine and operator efficiencies and report capacity constraints.
• Update management boards and communicate status during daily walks with management.
• Lead a team and manage performance including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
• Maintain staffing levels to achieve budgeted performance and manage cost reduction projects.
• Implement lean manufacturing methods (6S, flow, visual organization) and monitor key metrics.
• Ensure safety rules and regulatory compliance are followed at all times.
