Job summary

Staffmark is hiring for a Production Lead in North Little Rock, AR. The role oversees daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while guiding a team to meet schedules and customer requirements.

This position offers a hands-on leadership role with training, start-up meetings, and performance tracking. You will troubleshoot issues, coordinate with maintenance, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified.
• Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and material availability to ensure continuous operations.
• Communicate production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations to team members.
• Train, coach, and develop production associates on work instructions, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Conduct shift start-up meetings and provide updates on production priorities and performance metrics.
• Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and performance; provide feedback as needed.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and management teams to minimize downtime.
• Complete production reports, shift documentation, and performance tracking records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with disciplinary actions and employee recognition programs as directed by management

Education
