Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Production Lead in Plano, TX to keep lines moving, mentor staff, and drive safety, quality and productivity on the shift. This opportunity is based on a Production Supervisor career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.

The role requires leading production teams, coordinating with maintenance, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring adherence to schedules. Weekend/Saturday availability may be required, and a strong background in manufacturing is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree, technical training, manufacturing coursework, or leadership development training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety in the workplace daily; lead and direct Safety Program on a team as defined on the respective area.
• Lead safety discussions with associates, audit associate safety practices during walk around
• Attendance - be present for scheduled shifts and additional management team meetings as necessary
• Read, review, suggest improvement and follow issued production schedule
• Provide on-the-job training for associates in all areas of their job duties
• Maintain housekeeping standards 5s by inspecting each line.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality, productivity, cost efficiency and working environment in the department.
• Follow and Maintain department procedure and work instructions updating as necessary
• Maintain compliance with QMS system; QA Scrap & First Piece Approvals
• Report all safety, human resources, quality, scrap and production issues to manager
