Job summary

Aventure Staffing is seeking a 2nd shift Production Lead in Spirit Lake, IA to oversee frontline daily operations for a growing shift. Responsible for coordinating labor, material flow, safety, and quality across metal fabrication, machine operation, and welding on the shop floor.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience and familiarity with ERP systems. Overtime may be required; a full benefits package is included through the employer and staffing partner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years in a team lead or supervisory role.
• Background in metal fabrication, machine operation, or welding.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in basic math and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and coordinate shift team members to meet daily production goals.
• Monitor shift metrics (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery) and run operational reports to prioritize workflow.
• Troubleshoot daily production issues, equipment status, and material availability alongside management.
• Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.

Production Lead Pay: $25/hour plus shift differential Hours: 2nd shift, 3:30 p.m. - 1:30 a.m., Monday - Thursday Direct Hire Opportunity! A leading regional manufacturer is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Lead to oversee front-line daily operations for a newly expanding shift. This hands-on role coordinates labor, material flow, safety, and quality standards across metal fabrication, machine operation, and welding processes while actively assisting on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and coordinate shift team members to meet daily production goals.
• Monitor shift metrics (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery) and run operational reports to prioritize workflow.
• Troubleshoot daily production issues, equipment status, and material availability alongside management.
• Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of manufacturing experience (or equivalent combination) required.
• 2+ years in a team lead or supervisory capacity preferred.
• Background in metal fabrication, machine operation, basic mechanical techniques, or welding preferred.
• Experience utilizing ERP Systems preferred.
• Strong basic math, computer/data entry, and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work required overtime.

Pay & Benefits

• $25/hour plus $3/hour shift differential.
