Rhodes Wolfe is partnering with a wholesale building materials company near Lancaster, PA, to recruit a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor. This role leads afternoon manufacturing, oversees welding, fabrication, and finishing processes, and drives safety, quality, and productivity on the second shift.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of supervisory and metals manufacturing experience, reading blueprints, lean manufacturing knowledge, ERP proficiency, and the ability to work on a

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of metals manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic math proficiency including fractions and geometry.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and assist with team lifts up to 100 lb.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop second shift production employees while promoting a safety-first culture
• Carry out company quality policy with commitment to customers and continuous improvement
• Supervise daily operations of welding, fabrication, sawing, punching, blasting, powder coating
• Oversee robotic welding operations: setup, programming, troubleshooting, and quality control
• Schedule production activities and assign work to meet production goals and KPIs
• Monitor production, labor, and efficiency while identifying opportunities for improvement
• Train and mentor employees, manage performance, and approve timekeeping records
• Develop team with collective responsibility mindset, "can do" attitude, & clear communication
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with other supervisors and management
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards
• Communicate management decisions professionally and disagree in positive, constructive way
• Perform additional tasks as needed or required
• Be present on the shop floor 80% of the time

Location: Minutes East of Lancaster, PA
Salary: $75,000-$85,000 DOE + Annual Bonus Potential + Benefits
