Kelly Services is seeking a Production Lead for an experienced manufacturing team in Commerce City, CO. The role focuses on leading production staff, meeting daily goals, and maintaining safety and quality standards on a Monday-Thursday night shift.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Previous lead, team lead, or informal leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment and production issues.
• Experience with equipment such as layup, consolidator, waterjet, trim, press or similar machinery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production employees during the assigned shift.
• Communicate daily production goals, priorities, and deadlines.
• Monitor workflow, output, and team performance.
• Help keep production operating efficiently and at capacity.
• Track daily production metrics and elevate issues when needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Support basic mechanical troubleshooting and equipment adjustments.
• Ensure finished products meet established quality standards.
• Reinforce safety procedures and safe work practices.
• Train and support new employees.
• Assist with hands-on production activities as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding safety, quality, equipment, and production concerns.
• Identify problems quickly and help keep the team moving when priorities change.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.

Location: Commerce City, CO

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:15 PM-1:45 AM

Pay: $22-33/hour, based on experience

What you’ll do

• Lead and support production employees during the assigned shift

What we’re looking for

• Experience with manufacturing equipment such as layup, consolidator, waterjet, trim, press, or similar machinery is a plus
• Comfortable working with weights, measurements, and basic math
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to safety and product quality
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a changing production environment
• Willingness to lead by example and remain hands-on with the team
