Job summary

Resource Label Group is seeking a Production Coordinator to join our team and manage purchasing, production scheduling, inventory control, and administrative support to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with production, warehouse, customer service, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to maintain material availability and meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, purchasing, inventory control, scheduling, or related operations role.
• Experience in printing, packaging, or label manufacturing preferred.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and priorities in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to safely perform physical requirements of manufacturing environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing of raw materials, packaging supplies, and other production-related materials to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders to maintain stock and prevent production delays.
• Schedule and coordinate production activities to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, customer service, and art department for timely communication and efficient workflow.
• Track material availability and follow up with suppliers for on-time deliveries.
• Maintain purchasing, inventory, and production records.
• Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and discrepancy investigations.
• Coordinate special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned by Plant Manager.
