Job summary

Genesis Products is seeking a Plant Coordinator to develop production plans aligning with sales, delivery expectations, and inventory goals. You will order materials, manage schedules, and escalate issues to ensure on-time execution. Collaborate with all functions to meet customer requirements.

The role emphasizes strong analytics, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Business or Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Prior procurement/purchasing experience is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal materials to support demand, lead time and inventory targets.
• Prioritize and schedule production efficiently.
• Set up and communicate cut plans to convert raw materials to finished products.
• Communicate production status, escalate challenges and drive results with Inside Sales, Manufacturing, Shipping/Receiving.
• Execute internal inventory management including cycle counts and system reconciliation.
• Analyze performance, recommend continuous improvement and align with customer expectations.
• Report daily in Microsoft Excel and the MRP system.
