Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer II – Production Hardware in Tucson, AZ to support production hardware across digital, analog, and RF domains. The role requires a strong foundation in circuit design, hands-on testing, and collaboration with operations and quality teams.

The position includes a 3rd shift and travel <10% annually, with relocation eligibility and a 9/80 work schedule. A DoD secret clearance is required for US-based applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RF/analog/digital/mixed-signal circuit design or analysis and/or DSP.
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Enhance electrical engineering skills across digital, analog, RF hardware and debugging tasks.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other engineering to drive production and test readiness.
• Travel less than 10% annually and support third shift (11pm–8am) as needed.
• Provide technical oversight, cost estimation, and reporting for production hardware projects.
