Rich’s Production Group Leader in Brunswick, GA leads Line 1–3 operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while supporting scheduling and issue resolution. The role requires strong leadership, training of Production Associates, and coordination with Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Shipping to maintain smooth production.

The position emphasizes TPM, GMP compliance, and hands-on line setup and adjustments, with a focus on continuous improvement and safe, reliable manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3–5 years related experience.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, E‑mail, and SAP/QDMS.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and LOTO certification.
• Proficient in performing all Production Positions.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime when required.
• Must be certified to use the motorized Pallet Jack or Forklift.
• Ability to contribute to Production Improvement and TPM initiatives.
• Follows safety guidelines and GMPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line of support with minor to medium repairs on machines.
• Maintain high machine utilization by monitoring OEE and scrap.
• Apply cGMPs and SOPs across manufacturing processes.
• Ensure buddy checks at shift start and during changes.
• Ensure accuracy of daily production shift reports.
• Communicate production priorities and changes promptly to relevant parties.
• Assist in area improvements and best practices implementation.
• Train Production Associates for assigned tasks and coverage.
• Set up and prepare lines for production and reallocate line workers as needed.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, Shipping & Receiving, and Safety.
• Perform pre-inspection and pre-scale with QC for readiness to run next product.
• Emphasize safety and proper procedures on the line.
