Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a production line operator in Georgia to efficiently operate line equipment and troubleshoot process problems. You will lead production team members on the line, ensure correct usage of materials, and coordinate breaks and lunches for associates to meet the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be able to push or pull heavy equipment.
• Must possess general knowledge of machine operation.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operating all equipment on the line
• Troubleshooting process problems on all assigned equipment
• Leading all production team members on the line
• Ensuring correct usage of raw materials, labels etc.
• Coordinating all breaks and lunches for associates working on the line
• Leading associates to meet the production schedule
• Cross-training all production associates
• Encouraging associate to adhere to all safety guidelines and practices
• Maintaining clean equipment in area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Completing all necessary paperwork required by the position and
• Other duties as assigned.
