Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work with customers on data & AI challenges using the Databricks platform. You will own the architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development.

This hands-on, customer-facing role requires engineering excellence, curiosity, and strong collaboration with engineering, product, and developer relations teams. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering, analytics, or software engineering.
• Experience with Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep experience with Apache Spark and Spark internals.
