Job summary

Viasat is seeking a Production Control Expeditor to coordinate and expedite the material flow within manufacturing and engineering labs. You will partner with Production Planners to set schedules, manage material processing, and ensure timely completion of tasks across programs.

You will monitor WIP, audit kits, and communicate with internal customers to mitigate schedule risk, while maintaining material readiness and on-time delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production control, planning experience, or manufacturing experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and cross‑functional communication.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and walk/stand for long periods.
• US Citizenship required for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedit e the flow of work and materials within manufacturing and labs.
• Collaborate with Production Planners to establish schedules and mitigate delays.
• Report WIP status, rework orders, and production obstacles to stakeholders.
• Audit kits for accuracy before delivery to manufacturing.
• Monitor floor stock and kanban signals for material readiness.
