Job summary

New Tech Machinery is seeking a Production Control Expeditor to monitor customer orders, balance with capacity, and coordinate with manufacturing, sales, engineering, and accounting to keep schedules and BOMs accurate.

The role requires at least 1 year in Production Control, experience with MRP/Shop Floor Control, strong communication, math and PC skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Production Control or 2 years in Manufacturing Operations preferred.
• Requires solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills are required.
• Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft 365 Office) are required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize NetSuite ERP and MES to manage production orders and capacity.
• Review open Sales Orders for accuracy and schedule based on capacity and master schedule.
• Create and release work orders using MRP and monitor status against the schedule.
• Notify procurement of material shortages and report on WIP status to Master Scheduler.
• Close and document work orders with accurate costs and records.
• Coordinate changes to Bills of Materials or routing steps with Engineering and Document Control.
• Process Sales Order fulfilment with Shipping and Accounting as product is prepared.
• Assist production users in applying processes and act as an expert in system usage.
