Job summary

Data Direct Networks is seeking a diligent Manufacturing Expeditor to join our on-site team in Chatsworth to ensure smooth production by expediting materials across departments. The role requires strong organization, proactive problem solving, and the ability to manage material flow in a fast-paced facility.

You will coordinate with planners, procurement, and warehouse staff to prevent bottlenecks, monitor schedules, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in material coordination or expediting.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient with ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with production planners, procurement and warehouse staff to prioritize and expedite the flow of materials and components needed for production.
• Monitor inventory levels and production schedules to identify bottlenecks or delays.
• Expedite urgent orders or critical materials to meet production deadlines.
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, production schedules and material movements.
• Collaborate with production managers to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement and team-building activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
