Job summary

New Tech Machinery seeks a Production Control Expeditor to balance orders with capacity and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Accounting. You will ensure BOM accuracy, release work orders, and monitor progress through production cycles.

The role requires at least 1 year in production control or 2 years in manufacturing operations, with strong MRP/ERP experience and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year in Production Control or 2 years in Manufacturing Operations preferred.
• Experience with MRP/Shop Floor Control software strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills required.
• Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft 365 Office) required.
• Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Utilize NetSuite ERP and Smart Factory MES in daily production control activities.
• Review open Sales Orders for accuracy and schedules based on capacity and master scheduler input.
• Create and release work orders using MRP/other software; monitor status and communicate concerns.
• Track work order progress and notify procurement of material shortages; report weekly status.
• Review and close work orders; maintain cost records and document control.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Document Control on BOM changes and routing steps.
• Process Sales Order fulfilment with Shipping and Accounting as products are ready for shipment.
• Perform routine inventory transactions including adjustments and transfers.
• Assist users in establishing processes and act as a system utilization expert.
