Job summary

Weldaloy Products Company is seeking a Manufacturing Expeditor to monitor schedules, coordinate materials, and expedite parts to meet on-time delivery. The role requires on-site work, collaboration across suppliers, production, sales and logistics, and customer call participation.

Candidates should have an Associate's degree or equivalent with three+ years in manufacturing and proficiency in Excel/ERP systems, with strong problem solving and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent and at least three years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Prior experience working in manufacturing; forging industry is a plus.
• Experience using Plex ERP is highly desired.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Position is required to be on-site, occasional work from home with supervisor approval.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules daily and track progress to ensure timely orders.
• Coordinate raw material for production allocation and track status.
• Maintain records of material status, order progress, and delivery timelines.
• Expedite movement of parts through production to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify delays or bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate delays and propose process improvements where applicable.
• Support inventory control to reduce shortages and excess inventory.
• Liaise between suppliers, production, sales and logistics to resolve scheduling issues.
• Coordinate with shipping to ensure timely shipment of WIP and finished goods.
• Participate in customer calls to provide order status and updates.
