Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Supervisor I to lead daily production operations in Oregon. You will drive safety, quality, and performance while coaching hourly staff and a Production Senior.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, effective communication, and strong teamwork on a fast-paced manufacturing floor. The position requires an associate degree or equivalent, plus supervisory experience and solid leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; OR 6–12 months related experience/training; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of supervisory experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and operational documents
• Basic math proficiency
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Demonstrated ability in teamwork, adaptability, ethics, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor during the shift and monitor operations.
• Manage production flow and staffing to meet shift goals and resolve bottlenecks.
• Act as Safety Leader, enforcing safe work practices and coaching employees on safety metrics.
• Coach and develop operators and oversee the Production Senior.
• Ensure clear EOS handoffs between shifts and communicate priorities and follow‑up actions.
• Monitor quality by enforcing non-conformance procedures and achieving QA goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide clear goals and feedback to individuals and teams.
• Support plant-wide objectives in safety, quality, delivery, and workforce stability.
