Job summary

Marion Body Works, Inc. seeks a Production Manager to oversee all production operations and shop floor activities, driving efficiency, quality, and safety.

You will report to the Plant Manager and align day-to-day work with safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and customer service. The role requires leadership across multiple teams, experience with ERP systems, and a strong focus on continuous improvement through Lean practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years progressive manufacturing experience with 3 years of supervisory responsibility.
• Understanding of Lean principles and practices.
• Experience using ERP systems and PC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shop floor operations in accordance with established procedures and business strategy.
• Supervise function to meet production schedules, quality standards and delivery expectations.
• Coordinate activities to fulfill sales orders, maintain inventory, and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules with Production Control Manager to meet productivity and cost targets.
• Champion safety culture and ensure compliance with safety regulations and accident investigations.
