Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Supervisor I to lead daily production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing performance. You will maintain a strong floor presence, manage flow and staffing, develop employees, and drive continuous improvement while embodying Marvin's values and culture.

The role reports to the Production Superintendent and provides coaching to a Production Senior, with responsibilities spanning safety, quality, delivery, and workforce stability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; OR 6–12 months related experience/training; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of supervisory experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong presence on the production floor to monitor operations and support employees.
• Manage production flow and staffing to meet shift goals and resolve bottlenecks.
• Act as Safety Leader, coaching on safe work practices and correcting hazards.
• Provide operator support and coaching to ensure procedures are followed.
• Oversee and coach the Production Senior to align priorities and execution.
• Deliver clear EOS handoffs between shifts and communicate status and priorities.
• Monitor product quality and enforce non-conformance procedures to meet quality goals.
• Lead employee development through onboarding, cross-training, mentoring and feedback.
• Drive CI by identifying problems and implementing improvement initiatives.
• Model company values and translate goals into daily behavior.
• Maintain full crew ownership including attendance and performance oversight.
• Ensure adherence to training schedules and documentation.
