Qualifications

• 1-2 years leadership experience in manufacturing or maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years leadership in a foundry environment preferred.
• Prior experience as a lead person, leadership trainee, supervisor, or similar leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily production and maintenance activities to meet goals.
• Communicate priorities with foremen and team members to align resources.
• Create team assignments and manage workflow for efficient production.
• Monitor schedules, resource availability, and workforce capacity.
• Maintain appropriate levels of supplies to support daily operations.
• Track department performance and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct daily start-up meetings and ongoing communication.
• Coach employees and participate in performance reviews and development.
• Identify training opportunities to improve performance and engagement.
