Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily manufacturing activities in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise teams, manage resources, and ensure safety and quality across all shifts.

You will drive continuous improvement, train staff on safety requirements, and partner with managers to optimize production performance and metrics on the floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a foundry environment is preferred.
• 1–2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or maintenance is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily production and maintenance activities to meet goals and customer needs.
• Communicate priorities and align resources with foremen and team members.
• Create team assignments and set expectations for efficient workflow.
• Monitor schedules, resources, and workforce capacity; adjust as needed.
• Maintain appropriate levels of non-inventory production and maintenance supplies.
• Track department performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Lead daily start-up meetings and continuous communication on the floor.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production processes.
• Train and support new employees on safety and job responsibilities.
• Collaborate with managers and teams to identify and resolve operational challenges.
