Hire Consulting Services seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, manage resources, and promote a safe, productive work environment. You will lead teams on the shop floor, plan schedules, monitor performance metrics, train new employees, and collaborate with managers to drive improvements in quality and efficiency.

Competenze

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in foundry environment preferred.
• Experience as a lead person or supervisor preferred.

Mansioni

• Plan and coordinate daily production and maintenance activities to meet operational goals and customer needs.
• Communicate with foremen and team members to determine priorities and align resources.
• Create team assignments and communicate expectations for efficient workflow and production output.
• Monitor production schedules, resource availability, and workforce capacity; adjust as needed.
• Maintain levels of non-inventory production and maintenance supplies for daily operations.
• Track department performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Conduct daily start-up meetings and provide ongoing communication throughout the day.
• Spend time on the production floor to support employees and answer questions.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all production processes.
• Train and support new employees on safety, equipment operation, and job responsibilities.
• Collaborate with managers and team members to identify improvement opportunities and resolve challenges.
• Conduct and document performance reviews and regular conversations with team members.
• Coach employees through one-on-one discussions and support professional development.
• Identify training opportunities that improve performance and engagement.
• Promote workplace safety through communication, training, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor attendance and maintain accurate records; coordinate data entry in systems.
• Coordinate Environmental, Health, and Safety responsibilities, including inspections and training.
• Participate in meetings related to coaching, safety initiatives, and business strategy.
• Assist with candidate interviews and onboarding activities.
• Implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and employee experience.
